About Christchurch Rotary

Christchurch Rotary was established in 1950 and has supported residents and charities in the area ever since. Our Christchurch Living Advent Calendar which is now in its sixth year entertains residents at the same time as collecting significant amounts for charity. In the five years so far, we have collected and given away over £100,000. This year we are introducing a new event, Dinner About Town, which is designed to support local restaurants, give diners a unique experience and raise much needed cash for Parkinson’s UK (Christchurch Branch). We have also run the Christchurch River Pageant for the second year in a row and raised significant amounts for three local charities. On a more practical level, our volunteers help out at Somerford ARC on a weekly basis. We also collect for Christchurch Foodbank and supply them with Christmas Hampers.

Corporate Members are invited to take part in any or all of Christchurch Rotary’s business, charitable and social activities. You also have access to RotaryLearn which provides self-paced online training courses such as change management and conflict resolution.

There are opportunities to sponsor events where we will highlight your organisation. We would also welcome partnering you to hold your own fundraising events for Christchurch Rotary or one of the charities we support.
