Christchurch Rotary Dinner about Town

Wednesday 16th September 2026

at Restaurant Locations in Christchurch Town Centre.

Performers

Each of the four restaurants hosting Dinner About Town will provide live music from artists who are giving up their own time for charity.

We are very grateful to the following performers:

Georgie Carter

Shades of Blue

Charlotte Brookes

Sax ‘n Box

Georgie Carter

Performing at The Captain’s Club

Georgie is a very talented local singer who trained with Big Little Theatre School before going on to qualify as a professional singer, dancer and actor through her Triple Threat degree at the University of Chichester Conservatoire.

She has since embarked on other careers but pursues her love of the stage as a leading cast member with Highcliffe Charity Players. She has appeared in many pantomimes with them and recently starred in their production of the musical Come From Away at The Regent Centre.

      Shades of Blue

      Performing at The Boathouse

Shades of Blue are a professional vocals-and-guitar duo based well known in and around Christchurch. They perform an eclectic blend of jazzy Blues, R’n’B, Soul, rootsy Pop and Americana.

      Charlotte Brookes

      Performing at The Priory

Charlotte is a young and versatile vocalist with experience in musical theatre and a repertoire ranging from 50s classics to today’s hits. Each performance is filled with warmth, emotion and every song is a story worth hearing.

        Sax ‘n’ Box

Performing at Eighteen at The Kings

We are husband and wife duo, Debbie and Bren. We started performing together about 5 years ago when we formed a little Irish ceilidh band called Paddy’s Dog. We love playing traditional jigs and reels and crowd-pleasing songs such as Wild Rover and Tell me ma. In the last 2 years, we have started playing a completely different type of repertoire, ditching the penny whistle and banjo in favour of the sax. So tonight, we will be playing some well-known songs and also tunes from other countries, some of which you may recognise, and hope to create a lovely laid back vibe while you enjoy your meal.
